In the hours before the first Lions test in Auckland, a group of girls aged between 13 and 16 took to the Kingsland streets to entertain fans with their circus skills. In return, they were met with a barrage of lewd comments, writes the troupe’s co-artistic director Carlene Newall de Jesus.

So the defendant, Johnson & Johnson, are going to play the arsehole card in this case. Good to know.

I can bet you that if this was a penis implant, we wouldn't be having this fuckwittery. Shades of Endometriosis diagnosis all over again...

After the litigation defendant for Johnson and Johnson Steven Finch, Senior Counsel is found wanting in the balance of blind Justice upon his argument for the integrity of his high paying client, will he have learnt his moral lesson?

I don't think so.

In some alternative universe, if the Socceroos defeated, in rapid succession, the reigning world champions, the penultimate world champions and the reigning Olympic gold medalists, to win a major international title, can you imagine quite the degree to which that would be all over the media?

Meanwhile. In the real universe. This. Happened. -

Matildas stun Brazil to win Tournament of Nations with 6-1 victory

Quote:
Australia's Matildas have managed one of their most significant achievements with victory in the Tournament of Nations following a 6-1 rout of Brazil in Carson, California.

The Matildas' triumph, highlighted by doubles to Lisa De Vanna and Caitlin Foord, will sit alongside their Asian Cup win in 2010 in terms of its importance on the international stage and it is sweet revenge for their quarter-final exit via penalties at the hands of {eventual gold medalists} Brazil at last year's Rio Olympics.

Their undefeated run through the round-robin tournament included a historic first defeat of {current} world champions United States and local rival {2011 World Cup winners} Japan ...

Just saying .
