My comfort zone is sitting here with the computer scrolling through the Oxford Journals ( http://www.oxfordjournals.org/ ) or the International Journal of Medical Science ( http://www.mdpi.com/journal/ijms ) or the Biodiversity Data Journal ( http://biodiversitydatajournal.com/ ). Even the Journal of Production Management and Engineering ( http://polipapers.upv.es/index.php/IJPME ) is a decent read, surely better than that in which a snake possessed of the gift of the gab convinces a woman grown from the rib of a man that was formed from dirt ( Imean WTF!) to eat fruit from a magical tree which led to original sin, though even the fictitious nature of the Edenites, the original sin bourne of these fictional events is somehow real. I mean seriously, do people buy this crap?

Speaking in tongues weirded me out when a whole room did it
Isn't that how Japanese horror films start?

I would rather be at a nightclub than in a church. I would feel safer there, and less uncomfortable.
Yes in the techno DJ nightclub situation, everybody loves you because of E's and whatever and in the church they don't feel that love. They do coercion in the name of love.

I was 16 when a mate from school suggested we attend this huge Revivalist Church of Australia meeting in an old dance-hall in Kew Junction. It was packed, with proletarians.

When they started prophesying and speaking in tongues the wardens locked the doors...

We thought, 'Jesus!'

As far as I can recall.

I am qualified to authenticate such Marx/Englesian class relations as I was one myself, though I was sent to a private school. I was so from the wrong side of the tracks, it took an hour on train and tram to get to school.

The crew I fell in with, we smoked as much as possible and dug The Stones and The Who.
