Default Re: How do you have the Fake News talk?

You may be looking for "street epistemology".

There are some questions you can ask the rellos.

1: Do you think misquoting our politicians is a good thing or a bad thing?
2: Do you think good Australians should know some details about our political history?
3: What makes you think Facebook acts in the way you are suggesting?
4: If they do what do you think they intend by that?

These are not arguments. They are not even leading questions. They are establishing some landmarks about your rels values and perceptions.

Their answers may give you some more questions, especially where their position seems unfounded its good to find out where they are coming from.

You might find this very useful : https://freethoughtblogs.com/stderr/...-supremacists/
"History, I believe, furnishes no example of a priest-ridden people maintaining a free civil government".
-Thomas Jefferson

Burden of proof is the obligation on somebody presenting a claim to provide evidence to support its truth (a warrant). Once evidence has been presented, it is up to any opposing "side" to show the evidence presented is not adequate. If claims were accepted without warrants, then every claim could simultaneously be claimed to be true.

History isn't written by the victors. It's written by the people with the time machines.
