MEANINGLESS MUTTERINGS......there has been nor will be no accountability or redress from the mega rich Catholic Church......nothing has changed.

The Catholics have been guilty of atrocities worldwide. While this instance is beyond comprehension I'm sure that countries that were wholly Catholic have even worse tales.😑😑😑

He blamed society and ignored the huge fault his party and the church played. It’s a national disgrace. The report also covered up or down plated key elements like child rape, unregistered medical trials, forced adoptions. It’s a fucking disgrace.

Women and children - the innocent victims of religion all down the ages and in many denominattions and countries. Wht took the Irish government so long to apologise for the wrongs of the past?

Parading religiosity as though your ridiculous faith endows you with the moral high ground results in a sense of moral superiority that allows for heinous acts against others. The babes were the fruits of sin so let them die said Mother Church. They've known of these crimes for a long time now but it hasn't been widely published. I wonder why......let me guess!

Fergus Gibney

But what is he going to do about it?.

Janine Pereira 🀬

It should be the head of the church apologizing. AND paying reparations.

The Catholic Church is a criminal organisation. I hope the victims pursue a class actipn on behalf of those who no longer have a voice.

If you read the fine print however, the morality rate was only twice that of the normal population. Now obviously double still isn’t good, but I think the 9000 in the headline is meant to make us say “how the fuck did 9000 kids die” without realising that 4500 children would have died circumstances being normal, to which I would say “how the fuck did 4500 kids die”.

All truths come from collective which is beyond understanding for people who are caught up in any kind of judgment. Even atheist is just a label. πŸ™

And there in lies the problem. If you Can’t read, can’t analyse and can’t use logic you’ll probably end up religious.

I'm an atheist. I've made a cursory examination of it's pages - reads like gobble de gook. Just haven't got the patience to wade through something that is mostly fiction, mostly boring and from which you'll derive no benefit from the hours put in.

You don't have to read the whole book, just the last part -- Revelation.

So true!

Buy one and leave in the toilet, because your better having one and not needing it than not having one and needing it, because on day you’ll run out of toilet paper, and no one has yellow pages anymore.

I did and I got into religious cross cultural refefencing and realised everyone is trying to examine and explain the same things they dont understand.

Exactly that. As a child, I read Genesis and that told me everything, no need to go further. I used to get Jehovas coming to my door and I told them what I read. They never came back. Man made god, not the other way around.

Then take an heroic dose of πŸ„ or smoke some DMT and realise they all got it from psychedelics ✌️😜

I've always thought catholics make the best atheists 🀣

Practice what it says, and you'll be a liberal...

Yep!

Now do the Quran

i dont believe in athiesm

I got through Genesis, it was some of the most vile trash I’ve ever read.

Mike Hollingsworth Mark Ellery

Truly understand any religious is always the first step of getting away from it.

Fabio Traini

That's me for sure and in actual fact don't believe in any religion but only cause wars πŸ‘πŸ€”β˜˜οΈ and did you know 81% of Americans are atheists ! πŸ€”β˜˜οΈ Music is my religion , " AMEN πŸŽΆπŸ™β˜˜οΈπŸ˜€

Bit of a Christian culture false dichotomy at work here. There is no reason why reading the Bible would turn you against, say, Hinduism. Atheism (as opposed to non-Christian-ism) would require more general reading.

Love you bro!

I had so hoped to read something here other than bashing people of faith. If being Atheist makes you a better person than people of faith, where is the benefit in trashing what they believe?

Atheism summed up: 0+0=1

Reading a Bible as a Catholic made me an atheist...in what world do Catholics not read the Bible? Is it an american Catholic thing?
