At the Anglican Church of Australia’s National Parliament in Adelaide on Wednesday 2nd July, representatives of the church approved an amendment which doesn’t oblige ministers told during confession about serious crimes such as child sexual abuse to keep them secret.

Archbishop Jeffrey Driver, Anglican Archbishop of Adelaide, and Tracy Burgess of the AFA were recently interviewed by The Wire regarding this amendment.

A 5 minute audio of the interview can be found HERE, with the Archbishop speaking for the first 3 minutes, and Tracy for the remaining 2 minutes.
